Cypress Bayou Casino Hotel operates on the Chitimacha Indian Reservation in Charenton, Louisiana, approximately 50 miles southeast of Lafayette. This tribal gaming establishment features over 900 slot machines, more than 30 table games including Blackjack, Mini-Baccarat, and 3-Card Poker, and a live poker room specializing in Texas Hold'em. The property includes a 102-room hotel, seven restaurants including Mr. Lester's Steakhouse and Loco Mexican Grill, and ROX nightclub offering live entertainment on weekends and national acts. It was the first land-based casino in Louisiana to open.
