State Casinos Melo, known as Sala Melo, is located at Gral. Aparicio Saravia 659 in Cerro Largo and represents a significant expansion of gaming services in the region. Described as a substantially larger venue with enhanced space and services compared to previous facilities, the casino operates as part of the Casinos del Estado Uruguay network. The modern hall accommodates both casual and regular gaming visitors, complementing the city's entertainment infrastructure including the nearby Hipódromo de Melo horse racing track that reopened in 2013.
