Tropicana Las Vegas was a legendary casino resort that operated on the Las Vegas Strip for 67 years, from 1957 until its closure in April 2024. The third-oldest casino on the Strip, the Tropicana featured 50,000 square feet of gaming space with over 800 slot and video poker machines alongside table games including Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, Mini Baccarat, Pai Gow Poker, and Ultimate Texas Hold'em. Following major renovations in 2011, the resort underwent a contemporary redesign with South Beach-style decor and theme. The property was demolished via implosion in October 2024 to make way for a new Major League Baseball stadium scheduled to host the Oakland A's starting in 2028.
